Richard comes to VPP with 10 years of experience operating and investing in healthcare businesses. Before joining VPP in 2023, Richard spent six years at PharmScript, a long-term care pharmacy organization, serving in several roles including de novo development, revenue cycle operations, and the incubation and leadership of new business lines. Prior to that, Richard spent four years as a healthcare investment analyst at Artisan Partners, an investment team managing $25 billion across publicly-traded growth companies. Richard earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke University.
Richard lives in New York City with his fiancé. He enjoys exploring the cuisine of NYC and is a regular at the Marshall Chess Club, holding the title of National Master.
